Next Boat 5th October

14th September changed to 7th September...

A unique social afternoon freestyle aboard a historic vessel with a fabulous aspect of the Thames. The Boat offers dancing inside in the Ballroom and al fresco on the aft deck. Refreshments are served below deck in the Ward Room and there is a fully licensed bar in the Gun Room. What a great way to spend a Sunday or a Bank Holiday Monday afternoon!

Arrive early as this event is very popular and there is the chance that the event could sell out as the vessel has a fire limit capacity.

Please note that this event is a unique and special social afternoon with the facility for dancing. The main dance floor is parque laid on the metal deck so has a natural spring and profile. When dry the outside decks can be used for dancing but are not designed as such. We offer the opportunity to mingle, socialise, partake of the hot drinks and treats, buy drinks from the bar, relax in a fabulous location and to dance. Please enjoy the afternoon as a whole.

By Car:

The Boat is situated on the Victoria Embankment (A3211) which is a main arterial route through London. Roads from all directions lead onto the embankment so arriving by car is easy. Be aware that this is Central london on a Sunday afternoon and there tends to be a lot of events held that can lead to road closures and other traffic problems. Always check the TFL site before travelling.

Parking is very easy in the side roads opposite the Boat; Temple Avenue or John Carpenter Street are ideal.

You can't access these from the Embankment directly as they are no entry, so turn left at Blackfriars
roundabout and then take either of the next two lefts and effectively drive until you are opposite the boat
and park in either Temple Avenue or John Carpenter Street

Please check the parking signs and time plates and be aware of residents parking bays.

Also don't park your car in motorcycle bays or opposite drop kerbs.

Erick Wilson is the resident DJ

Asako will welcome you at the door.

Alan will serve you a cup of tea.

Kevin will serve your food with a smile.

Help yourself to cakes and treats.
