STYLE WORKSHOPS

These workshops are designed for people who are comfortable with freestyling and already have a repertoire of moves.

The workshops aim to improve your technique and help you develop your own style. These workshops are not designed to teach you lots of new moves.

STYLE WORKSHOP ONE

Are you well versed in the beginner's moves, comfortable with the intermediate class, and can freestyle confidently in time to music? Would you like to put more panache into your dancing whilst ensuring the basics are still correct? If the answer is yes, then this is the workshop for you!

The workshop begins by going back to Ceroc basics and addressing many of the 'bad habits' that prevent dancers from improving style and mastering moves, before adding a whole range of style tips to greatly enhance moves that you already know. The workshop then moves on to develop footwork skills not
normally taught in class, before showing some stylish moves incorporating these skills. Ladies - you are also shown how to improve your spins, so that 2 or more spins can be achieved. The limited numbers ensure that the teacher and demonstrator can give individual attention where necessary. There will
be several periods of freestyle where you can practice what you have learnt.

The workshop is very relaxed and friendly, and you do not need a partner to apply.

how to put dramatic pauses into moves (freezes), tempo changes and improvisation techniques for ladies. The workshop then covers drops and seducer moves that cannot be taught in class. Limited numbers ensure that the teacher and demonstrator give individual attention where necessary. Several periods of freestyle mean you can practice what you have learnt. The workshop is very relaxed and friendly, and you do not need a partner to apply.
