“A friend and I went to the Chill Out
afternoon at Ashton's yesterday. We had heard that it was worth a visit so
we set off from Birmingham at 12pm and arrived 2 hours later. I would have
happily driven a further 2 hours.. we had a truly fabulous time..!
The true beauty of the afternoon was the music.. pure, unadulterated
smoooooth music with a delightul sprinkling of Latin that begged to be
interpreted. It was sheer magic..!
I spoke to the DJ at the end of his stint and thanked him for a perfect

Sunday afternoon social dances create an atmosphere where you can unwind, chat
to friends, catch up on gossip, read a newspaper or magazine between dances and
relax along to some very cool sounds.
Ceroc hold these events during the long autumn and winter months creating
a dance haven for you that will change the way you spend your Sunday afternoons
FOREVER!!
Guest DJ’s create the ambiance for the day depending on the mood (or the
weather!) to ensure you have a chilled afternoon, leaving happy and relaxed.
Your DJ will slide
into the cool sounds of the 'Chill Out' Lounge. An eclectic blend of
smooth Jazz, Blues, Latin and the more chilled mainstream Ceroc tracks will pull
you repeatedly back on to the dance floor. BEWARE it is extremely addictive!!
The Chill Out
Lounge provides an excellent opportunity for London's best dancers to come out
and play.
The Ashton’s ‘mega fan’ is on hand to cool you down if you get too excited for
the afternoon mood!! (Men with toupees beware!!).
A selection of tea’s and coffee are served upstairs for 2 hours between
the hours of 2.30 and 4.30 pm.
Biscuits, fruit, crisps and some small cakes are provided to keep you
going through the afternoon.
There is a fully licensed bar downstairs, right next to the superb sprung
wooden dance floor, that is open all afternoon serving cool drinks.
Entry price is £8.00 (unless we have a band).
Doors Open at 2.00pm
Refreshments 2.30 – 4.30pm
