CEROCSHOP

Ceroc hosts workshops at weekends nattily called 'Cerocshops', these Cerocshops range from beginner to advanced. The Cerocshop environment is an excellent way of rapidly improving your dancing, with a maximum of 22 people in each workshop there is also a greater opportunity for personal tuition.

The atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly, and there's no need to bring a partner.

These are 4 hour intensive Cerocshops which will help you either learn Ceroc very quickly if you are a beginner, or improve your dancing if you have been Cerocing for a while.

All our Cerocshops are held at weekends and you need to book in advance.

Is it for me? Ideal if you have just started and wish to 'kick start' your dancing. Also suitable for dancers who just want to ensure that they develop good technique. For dancers comfortable with the beginner's class, but lack confidence with the jump to intermediate level. You may also be struggling with freestyle. For dancers who wish to learn a batch of intermediate moves in one hit. For dancers comfortable with the Intermediate class and freestyle confidently, but wish to iron out bad habits and introduce footwork into their moves. For dancers comfortable with the intermediate class and freestyle confidently, and wish to really develop their style.
What will I learn? Ceroc basics, up to 8 Beginners moves, how to link moves, turning & spinning, freestyle techniques. This Cerocshop gives you the equivalent experience of 6 classes. Variations of the Beginners moves and a selection of simple Intermediate moves - the 'building blocks' for the next stage of your dancing.  These are purely moves based Cerocshops and you will learn up to 12 of the essential Intermediate moves in detail. You will learn techniques to enhance basic moves, remove 'bad habits' and be taught a whole range of footwork techniques. This Cerocshop really adds sophistication to your repertoire. You will learn a variety of musical interpretation techniques such as 'freezes' so your dancing reflects the music. 'Seducer' moves and 'drops' are also taught.
What are the Benefits? After the workshop you will immediately have a repertoire of core beginner's moves. You will be able to freestyle and enjoy full participation at regular Ceroc evenings. You will have more confidence with freestyle and should be able to tackle the intermediate class with confidence. You will now have a core selection of moves to enhance your repertoire for freestyle. You should also find it easier to pick up and develop moves for yourself. Without having to learn a whole range of new moves you will be able to develop your dancing so that it stands out from the crowd! After this Cerocshop you will really be able to strut your stuff. You will now be able to dance with the music rather than to it, and impress with your drops and seducers.
What next? After this workshop try the intermediate class, and make sure you try to freestyle. You would also benefit from attending the other Beginner Cerocshop, or the Beginner Improver Cerocshop. After this workshop attend the intermediate class and book yourself on the INTERMEDIATE Cerocshop. Ask more advanced dancers for a dance in freestyle! Time to consolidate what you know. Keep up regular attendance at your venue and freestyle as much as possible and then consider attending one of the STYLE Cerocshops. Dazzle everyone with your new found skills and confidently introduce footwork into your dancing. Enjoy your dancing and let others enjoy dancing with you! If you haven't already done so try the STYLE 1 Cerocshop.
